Katie is the big sister I never knew I needed. We have a unique story—she first came into our lives as a nanny, tasked with the not-so-easy job of managing both me and my brother, Jonathan. But Katie quickly became so much more than that, stepping into the role of a role model, and, most of all, a sister. She’s been by my side through every milestone, guiding me through life’s ups and downs with unwavering support. We’ve shared countless laughs, shed a few tears, and navigated the twists and turns of life together. I am so grateful to have her by my side, especially on this special day, as she continues to be the big sister I never had but always needed!

Alison and I met the summer I moved to Raleigh, NC, around the age of 12. I spotted her rocking a belt that looked like a seatbelt while riding a bright red electric scooter, and I just knew she was cool. From that moment on, we spent countless days together binge-watching Gilmore Girls, Friends, and every '80s Brat Pack movie we could get our hands on. Our mutual love for the Jonas Brothers has always been a constant, even if our favorite JoBro changes as we get older. Alison’s always ready for a good time, with a personality that lights up any room. I couldn’t imagine celebrating this special day without her!

Emily and I met in the eighth grade at our alma mater, Ravenscroft—and yes, we know, it sounds like a house from Harry Potter. Together, we navigated the rollercoaster of middle school and high school, but our friendship truly blossomed when we joined the softball team and became the team’s dynamic duo. We made countless memories, from sleepovers where Em would always be the first to fall asleep, to endless rounds of the karaoke game Lips, where I earned my reputation as a notoriously bad harmonizer. Our shared love for The Goo Goo Dolls became a soundtrack to our lives, so much so that we even ditched our senior prom after-party to hang out with our closest friends and listen to their music. It means the world to have her here to celebrate with me!

Lauren Paige and I met the summer before our freshman year of high school when she moved into the neighborhood. She’s a real-life Barbie and has always inspired me to be unapologetically myself. We quickly bonded over our love for cheesy rom-coms—our motto being, “the cheesier, the better.” From surviving surprise pranks from our brothers to belting out boy band lyrics (usually the Jonas Brothers) at the top of our lungs, we’ve shared countless unforgettable moments. We even weathered a Category 2 hurricane together, with our families, at her beach house, right in the eye of the storm. Through all the highs, lows, and a few wild rides, nothing could ever come between us. I can’t picture this day without her by my side!

Angel and I met during our freshman year of college—Go Wildcats! After ending up in the same sorority, we quickly realized we were meant to be sisters beyond Greek life. Our friendship has thrived on our shared dark sense of humor, endless sarcasm, a mutual love for sushi, and, of course, our obsession with The Backstreet Boys. Somehow, she always knows what I’m thinking before I even say it, which is truly a gift. Angel has known both Zack and me since the very beginning of our relationship, supporting us through every step of the journey. Through thick, thin, and everything in between, Angel is a friend I can always count on, and sharing this day with her makes it even more unforgettable.

Anna is my sister-in-law and forever tasked with the job of being married to my brother—no small feat! I was the first in the family to meet her, as Jonathan decided I was the “safest option.” Anna and I hit it off right away, bonding over our shared love of bossing him around, and we’ve been close ever since. Adding her to the family was one of Jonathan’s best decisions, and now I have a built-in sister for life. She’s witty, sassy, and brings so much joy and fun to every family gathering. On the day Zack proposed, Anna made sure I stayed busy, cleverly throwing me off the scent whenever I got too curious. I’m incredibly lucky to have her by my side—not just on my wedding day, but every day!
